Why Go Outside?
Because you've earned it!
There's something remarkable that happens when you take the screen outside. The living room expands. The air is fresh. The conversation flows more easily. An outdoor television isn't just about watching TV — it's about reclaiming your outdoor space and genuinely using it.
COMMENTS FROM CUSTOMERS
OUTDOOR TV IS DIFFERENT
"Once you've watched a game under the stars, or a movie on a warm California evening — you may never want to go back inside."
~ Grace Wittenberg
There's something remarkable that happens when you take the screen outside. The living room expands. The air is fresh. The conversation flows more easily. An outdoor television isn't just about watching TV — it's about reclaiming your outdoor space and genuinely using it.
California homeowners are uniquely positioned to enjoy this more than anywhere else in the country. Pleasant evenings, mild winters, expansive patios, and stunning landscaping — all of it deserves to be lived in, not looked at through a window.
OUTDOOR TV OPENS UP THE BACKYARD
Let's watch a movie together...
Homeowners who have made the leap to the outdoors report something consistent: their backyard becomes the favorite room now.
The family lingers longer after dinner.
Kids and grandkids come over for movie nights under the sky.
The patio transforms from “where we put the outdoor furniture” to the social heart of the home.
LET'S PUT THE GAME ON
Afterall, games are played outdoors...
Sports fans discover that watching a game with a nice warm breeze blowing, a cold drink in hand, and room to move around is a genuinely better experience than any bar or indoor couch.
Friends come over for the game and stay for the cook out, Sundays become more than Game Day, they become a great day.
LET'S TAKE IT OUTSIDE
One thing leads to another...
Perhaps most unexpectedly: people say they feel more present, more alive outdoors, not less, because the screen becomes the anchor that gets them outside — where the backyard opens up, and other ways to enjoy the outside - invite a neighbor over for a movie or game or... read a book, call an old friend. The evening is yours - outdoors.

FAQ - Outdoor tvFrequently Asked Questions
-
Why can’t I just use a regular indoor TV outside?
Indoor TVs are not built for outdoor conditions. Even under a covered patio, they can be damaged by moisture, humidity, temperature swings, dust, insects, and glare, they are inherently inadquate and unsafe.
A true outdoor TV is engineered for the environment where it will live. -
Do I need a full-shade, partial-sun, or full-sun outdoor TV?
That depends on where the TV will be installed. A covered patio may only need a full-shade model. A pergola or open patio may need a brighter partial-sun model. Poolside or open-air areas may require a full-sun outdoor TV.
Placement matters. The wrong TV in the wrong location can look washed out or wear out too quickly. -
Are outdoor TVs waterproof?
Quality outdoor TVs are weather-rated, but “weatherproof” does not mean they should be installed carelessly. They still need proper mounting, wiring, ventilation, and placement.
The TV, power, cabling, mount, and any connected equipment all need to be planned for outdoor use. -
Will I be able to see the screen during the day?
Yes, if the correct outdoor TV is selected for the amount of sunlight in that location. Outdoor TVs are much brighter than indoor TVs and are designed to reduce glare.
A shaded patio and a full-sun pool area are very different environments, so the screen brightness and placement need to match the space.
-
Is outdoor WiFi just a stronger router?
Usually, yes. Outdoor spaces absorb and disperse sound differently than indoor rooms. The small speakers built into a TV are rarely enough outside, especially if people are talking, cooking, swimming, or watching sports.
Outdoor speakers make the experience feel more clean with clarity, without having to blast the TV. Realize that the TV speakers can also pull double-duty as music speakers, so they can be used extensively. -
Can an outdoor TV connect to streaming apps?
The best location usually balances shade, viewing angle, seating position, glare, wiring access, power, weather exposure, and how the space is actually used.
Covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pool houses, pergolas, and fireplace walls can all work well when the installation is planned correctly. -
Where is the best place to mount an outdoor TV?
The best location usually balances shade, viewing angle, seating position, glare, wiring access, power, weather exposure, and how the space is actually used. Will it be watched here?
Covered patios, outdoor kitchens, pool houses, pergolas, and fireplace walls can all work well when the installation is planned correctly. The best picture will be under shade. -
Should I plan for outdoor security at the same time?
Yes. Outdoor TVs can often be integrated with smart-home control, outdoor speakers, lighting scenes, shades, security cameras, and WiFi. That means one app or remote can control the outdoor entertainment experience.
The goal is simple: press one button and the backyard is ready.
